Harvey Gerald Shields, 80, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018. He was a preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Loraine Shields and survived by his sisters, Joyce Adams and Jeanette Moltovan and his life partner Roland Labadon. Gerald traveled the world and has taught and directed many schools here and abroad. He loved the world of education. At the time of his death he was the owner of Saraville Bed and Breakfast in Alma Michigan, but was always up for a new adventure. He will be missed by all his family and the many people he called friend. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 1:00pm in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Seaford, Va. Arrangements are being handled by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.
